My Story

I am a qualified social worker with 15 years’ experience of front line practice and management with Adult Social Care. I am also a former CQC inspector. Throughout my career, I have specialised in safeguarding, risk management, provider improvement and mental health. I am a qualified BIA and AMHP with expertise in the Mental Capacity Act and other legal frameworks. I have managed a local authority provider improvement service and helped numerous settings to enhance their safety, compliance and quality.  

I have vast experience in investigating concerns and complaints and can support you in navigating processes with the Local Authority, ICB and CQC. I can offer a range of audits, compliance checks and full mock inspections tailored to meet the standards of CQC.  I can offer crisis management support to services at risk of enforcement or other formal processes. I work with a network of experts in the field of health and social care and can access support from qualified senior nurses to provide guidance on any clinical concerns.
